Legal Assistance
The organization provides paralegal and professional assistance to people who have faced human rights violations. Our target groups are people from key populations vulnerable to HIV, including but not limited to people living with HIV, people who use drugs, sex workers, prisoners, HIV-discordant couples.
Paralegal services on HIV related cases
- Initial legal assistance/consultation
- Solving of local conflicts, including the possibility of mediation
- Providing information to interested parties
- Human rights screening in Moldova to identify cases of discrimination and human rights violations
- Registration of the cases on human rights violations in the electronic database REAct and referral to professional legal assistance, if necessary
Professional legal assistance and services on HIV related cases
- Protection and promotion of human rights
- Monitoring various government institutions for non-compliance/violation of human rights
- Professional legal counseling to protect the rights of people from key populations vulnerable to HIV, as well as people living with HIV
- Strategic litigation (national and international level)
- Human rights education
- Advocacy for systemic changes in legislation and practice

- Rapid HIV, Hepatitis C and Syphilis testing
- Assistance in the provision of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and HIV post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP)
