In Moldova, families children are entitled to additional state and local public administration support.
Requirements
In order to receive special support, there must be at least one child in the family, including foster children and adopted children, who are up to 18 years old, or up to 23 years old and continuing studies.
Types of support
Additional support for families with two and more children may include:
- additional paid and unpaid vacation to the parents (if all children are up to 14 years old)
- a longer duration of the additional breaks in the work program for feeding the children under 3 years
- increased social aid benefits for children in a family
- exemptions from certain notarial fees (in case of three and more children)
